Astypalea: The 70th Anniversary of the Dodecanese Unification Celebrated with Splendor | VIDEO

With great ceremony and strong participation from the residents, Astypalea celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Unification of the Dodecanese with Greece. From early in the morning, people of all ages gathered in the central square of Chora to watch the student parade, the military unit of the island’s National Guard, and of course the dance performance by the local cultural association’s troupe.
